Partnering with La Main Sur Le Coeur
Through our 4th Annual Back2School Program, we were able to provide over 20 backpacks filled with school supplies to families with children battling HIV, helping them get ready for the start of the new school year.
At Onatti Foundation, we know that when a family member is diagnosed with HIV, their whole world changes. Many families do not have the financial means to purchase school supplies for their kids heading back to school. In partnership with the local nonprofit, La Main Sur Le Coeur based at the Hospital Kalembe-lembe, this program allowed us to bring backpacks filled with supplies directly to each family, saving them the worry of shopping.
This special day would not have been possible without the incredible support of our friends and donors, who showed up in full force to provide new school backpacks for the kids. Thanks to their generosity, each bag was filled with essential school supplies that we may take for granted like pencils, crayons, journals, and more. We’re deeply grateful to everyone who helped make this day a success.
